The Supportive Gnome

Truly, I have never met someone so present, so supportive, so…concrete. I had the privelege of hanging out with The Gnome, a few weeks ago, at Pat and Bri’s wedding. I was honored to shoot The Gnome and his best friends. The Gnome was adopted off the front lawn of a neighbor many many years ago by Pat and his friends. They took him in, cared for him and The Gnome has been a solid force in those young men’s lives since. Pat spoke of him fondly, “He goes everywhere with us! Even white water rafting!” It was such a blessing to see the return of love displayed by this little sweet guy! It was beautiful!

I’m sure he doesn’t have much, that made his contributing to the dollar dance that much more meaningful. After all, he is a grateful gnome.

And does that boy know how to dance!

Friends like these don’t come around very often. The Gnome can be an inspiration to us all.

Hi Jolynnne! Great pics of The Gnome!
Ken and I are “very” familiar with how The Gnome was adopted. Ken was a member of “CALA” or “Ceramic Animal Liberation Army”. He proudly “freed” many lawn animals and Gnomes from their front lawn bondage and “relocated” them to better homes! LONG LIVE THE GNOME!
Keep up the great photography! :)

Melinda! I am so proud of Ken and CALA! What a honor to be associated with an organization that has had so much impact on society. Keep up the great work!
