Mission Viejo Family Photography :: Vander Veens Holiday Portraits

Ah! I LOVE these people! Amy and I have known each other for about 17 years! I worked at a church in Mission Viejo in college and she was one of MY girls. We and my other kids built houses in Mexico together, we had slumber parties, and her family fed me a lot! So it was so special to see her after all these years and meet her precious family! We met at Los Rios Rancho in Oak Glen…one of my favorite places…for a gorgeous fall shoot. Meet the wonderful and gorgeous Vander Veens!!

Look how relaxed and beautiful they look. You would never know that their littlest was having a meltdown right below them! (He had reached his limit of photographs, poor guy)Are they adorable or what?Amy and Matt! So so wonderful to see you!! I love your family!! Hugs to you all.

Idyllwild Family Portraits :: The Adams Family at Hurkey Creek

Meet one of my favorite families of all time. The Adams! There is no one like Connie and Marty Adams. Generous, kind, gracious, loving and strong…and super fun!! So of course they would have created these kids! So full of life and spunk, I tell you!! Especially little Miss here! You’ll see! Pay close attention to the faces and glances and stances. HILArIOUS! Joey and I were crackin’ up looking at some of these! We met up at Hurkey Creek in Mountain Center. It was perfect. Enjoy the Awesome Adams!

Even the way she lifts her little foot screams LIFE!Yep!Precious love.I had a little help from Marty here. He was doing something CRAZY behind me to make the kids laugh! It was so funny because their oldest kept saying “You’re not funny Dad…” But somehow he couldn’t keep from laughing…hmmm…I think that 12 year old boys think they’re not supposed to smile…but just can’t help it ;) ( so reminded me of my 12 year old!) They don’t want to be cute, but they ARE!! And could you just die for that smile of their younger boy! Classic!!He made eyebrows at me. Little charmer. As painful as it is for 12 year old to do a shoot like this…he did awesome!Little Miss Personality! So much love. The best faces. EVER.Oh you just made my year. Adams, I love you so much and treasure our walks and memories and your children. You are precious to my heart! Thank you so much for asking me to capture the love and fun of your family.

Ramona Bowl Musical Masquerade :: Hemet Party Photography

I have had the extreme pleasure of photographing several fundraisers for the Ramona Bowl Amphitheater.  I photographed their first Fundraiser, A Night at the Opera, at Dattilo Ristorante, who also catered this amazing night, “Musical Masquerade”  at the exquisite home of Dr. and Mrs. Kali Chaudhuri.  Enjoy the beauty and fun that was the Ramona Bowl Musical Masquerade benefiting the Ramona Bowl Amphitheater.

The party was held at the Chaudhuri Home…Wow!

A couple of the adorned guests of the evening.  Candace Harsany (left) getting into the festivities!Dattilo’s Ristorante catered the event…and it was DELICIOUS.  As usual :)The lovely Luciana Marabella, President of the Ramona Bowl Guild Alliance.  Luciana and her husband, Don (a Ramona Bowl board member) have graciously supported us from the beginning.Harpist, Paula Sophia Windsor, accompanied during dinner and did an amazing job.Supporting doctors and guests. Senator Bill Emmerson second from right. Dr. Chaudhuri far right.Don Marabella, Max DeMoss, Luciana Marabella, Dr. Chaudhuri, Sylvia and Jim Singleton having a good laugh!Dr. Chaudhuri and Jim Singleton. Then we all adjourned to the Ballroom in the Chaudhuri home for a fun and entertaining concert by the incredible Radoslav Lorkovic.Who is also amazing on the accordion!

This event was hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Chaudhuri and Dr. John and Candace Harsany, supporters of Physicians for Healthy Hospitals.  Here are Dr. Chaudhuri (left) and Dr. Harsany (right) being recognized for their contributions.

And the evening would not have been complete without more raising of needed funds to make the Bowl even more great.  Renowned Bronze Sculpture Artist, Max DeMoss was there to auction of one of his beautiful pieces.  Here’s newly elected San Jacinto City Council member Andrew Kotyuk (left) and Max DeMoss drawing for the sculpture.Great news!  Manor Care of Hemet won the sculpture, so now those residents will be able to enjoy a beautiful, one-of-a-kind artwork from a local master.

I love this next shot…as I was preparing to take the photo, Dr. Chaudhuri stepped right into view.  How cool :)This was such a pleasure.  Thank you Ramona Bowl Guild Alliance for inviting me and my husband to the Musical Masquerade!

Pasadena Engagement Photography :: Hannah + Kobie

I just LOVE when I get the opportunity to shoot in old towns. There is just so much texture and flavor to the old buildings, making great backgrounds for photos. So…Hannah and Kobie met me in Old Pasadena for their engagement shoot. All of these were taken within about a block. So great. And…you just can’t go wrong with the gorgeous Hannah and Kobie! Here they are!

No kidding. In between two buildings was this beautiful courtyard with an outdoor stage. It beckoned us in. :)

And then a little neon sign caught our attention as it was getting dark…it was Rocket Fizz Soda Pop and Candy Shop! Candy has a way with bringin’ out the kid in us all :)

Hannah, Kobie, thank you!  It was a pleasure meeting and photographing you both!  Much love!
