So cute! Love that Lori and Kris wanted to dress as pirates for their engagement photos! We had lots o’ fun!! Lori and I have known each other for about 7 years…so happy she found an awesome guy! Enjoy Lori and Kris!!
Karen and I go WAYYYYYY back…like to the early 90′s!!! So so long ago…We were 10 ;) Ok, we went to college together. :D So great to see an old friend and her cutie patooties! Karen and the girls came out to our place and we had a blast hanging out and shooting pictures on a chilly morning.
Much love to you and the girls!!
Rebekah and Christopher are Marines. They had a little civil ceremony to officially tie the knot awhile back, but wanted a special day to acknowledge their marriage in the presence of family and friends. And I was the lucky one to have the opportunity to photograph it! I LOVE Wayfarer’s Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes. I shot another wedding here. What a beautiful venue…seriously! Who could ask for anything more beautiful than a glass chapel?! The amazing Stephanie Bowden of Stephanie Joy Photography joined me in photographing this sweet wedding.
Rebekah’s sisters and sister-in-law were her bridesmaids.
I am so glad Stephanie grabbed this beautiful shot!
This is also Stephanie’s!
We headed over to Old World in Huntington Beach for a lively reception, I tell you. Lots of games and fun at this one!
How exciting is it to find a red phone booth!!?
Love this one by Stephanie as well!
Rebekah and Christopher, thank you so much for giving me the pleasure of shooting your beautiful day! Much love and happiness to you both!

Let me introduce you to one of my favorite childhood buddies! Brandon and I grew up together in good ole Downey, California. I’ve known him since we were 8. And now…30 years later…here we are…all growed up!! We also went to college with his sweet wifey, Alonna. The Van Scoys came on out to our house for a fun family shoot. Love this family! My insruction for this shot: To do whatever you want inside your section! This is what happened :)
She has spunk for sure!
I love you Van Scoys! We seriously need to get together again…even without a camera involved! Hugs to your precious kiddos.
This is a really special shoot for me. This is Joey’s Dad, Danny and his fiance, Dee! It’s so nice to see them so happy and in love! Downtown Pasadena was the place for us. We met at All Saints Episcopal Church for these shots. So much character in these grounds. Meet Danny and Dee!
And you can’t be within a block of Pasadena City Hall without heading there for some shots! This place is amazing!
Aren’t they cute?
I think Dee looks so beautiful here!
Love.
Danny and Dee…thank you so much for allowing me to capture the beginning of your journey together. Love you both!
So excited to do this shoot! I have never done a shoot on a golf course…well…and I have never been on a golf course…if you can believe it. One time in college a friend took me to a driving range, and I never even hit the ball, although I swung. So…not much luck in the ole golfing past, but not to worry! I had my bud Josh to show me the ropes. Josh met me at Diamond Valley Golf Club in Hemet. Wow, what a beautiful course! They were kind enough to let us drive around on golf carts and take some shots :) Joshua is on the Hemet High School Golf Team. Meet the amazing Joshua!
We headed over to the Western Science Center to mix it up. Lots of yummy walls and textures to add to our shoot. Oh, and a very handsome Josh in a sweet suit.
Josh’s cutie girlfriend, Kristen, came along for smile support and some shots with Josh. And she gave him that striped shirt…
It was very cute, Josh’s mom was with us and she kept wanting him to do “that thing” that he does that is so cute. Josh acted like he didn’t really know what “that” was…until I walked down the street with him and said, “Come on Josh, what does your mom think is so cute? Ya gotta do it for her!” Well here it is. Sometimes we moms just need that “thing” caught on camera! You all grow up too fast and we want to hold on to those sweet memories of our babies :)
Desiree, Josh, thank you! I had a blast with you! Congrats Josh on your graduation! Hugs to you all!
The McClarys! How can we describe them better than…some of the best friends we have ever had? Ben and Telah have been our amazing friends for years. We all lived in good ole Hemet, then they moved to Utah, BOO! But just like good friends do, we pick up where we left off like no time has passed. And I do have to mention that their oldest and Jos have been betrothed since they were 4. ;) Our kids are all very close and love each other very much. You’re just going to die to see their daughter’s expressions. Hilarious! Ben was out here for a while for work, then Telah and the kids came to see us, I mean him ;) So we grabbed some family pics while they were out here…
You know what’s weird? When I TOOK this picture on the right, I got tears in my eyes from how beautiful it was. Not like, wow, I am so good! Look at the picture I took! There was just so much love, it made me tear up :)
There is nothing more fun than Daddy’s throwing and lifting their babies :)
Precious brownie eyeballs!
She. cracks me up!
Handsome little face.
Oh yes.
Ben and Telah Belah…I love you guys so much!! Thank you for being our friends. Now…move back to CALIFORNIA! XOXO
Sherry! Honestly, an exclamation point has to come after her name. And probably before, too. Sherry is a DOLL! You’ll see, she’s obviously gorgeous…but she is just so FUN! What a beautiful and free spirit she is. We had such a blast with this shoot. We wanted to keep going! We walked around our property and found some great places to shoot. Meet !Sherry!
Is she just adorable!?
She brought along her cutie pie beau, Nathan, so we grabbed him for a few…
Sherry…you make the world a brighter place, girl. It was so fun to hang out with you. Hugs!
You know you want to carry your camera in your purse…but should not, oh no you should not…without this! Now you don’t have to lug around your camera bag in addition to your purse. My great friend, Kim Johnson, has designed a comfy little cozy for your camera to keep it safe and free from gummy crumbs, bumps and scratches in your purse…the Camera Cube! She custom-makes each one to the size of your camera and color of choice. She also has adorable camera straps :) Visit her website to order one…(she’s got other great stuff, too!) Visit her Facebook page and LIKE that, too!
Meet Kate and Scott! This wedding was super fun for me. I shot Kate and Scott’s engagement session at Thornton Winery a while back. I always love when I am able to do both! Their wedding was at the gorgeous Lake Oak Meadows in the heart of Temecula’s wine country, and Temecula wedding coordinator Diana Ross made sure everything went just right!
Kate and Scott are precious! Ooh la la, love this lighting. I went outside and saw how perfect the lights were, so I grabbed them (ok…I asked them) to come with me!
Kate was one of the most laid back brides I have ever had. She’s adorable, and hilarious. She was complimenting everyone (even me:) and brought a smile to everyone’s faces.
I was excited to bring along Sidney Morgan as my second photographer for this wedding! She did an amazing job. This shot is hers of the mama of the bride.
Scott and his boys.
I love when big boys laugh :)
Cuteness!! Their little flower girl was ADORABLE! I just love her cheeks.
Sidney waited with Scott before their first look at each other. Such a sweet guy.
Yes, the water was really that color ;) It was expected to rain every single hour of this day…but not a single drop. Oh, but it did hail on the way there!! The clouds got out all their fury before we got there :)
SO much love.
There’s that lighting I was telling you about!
Kate and Scott, thank you!! Your wedding was beautiful! Thank you so much for giving me the pleasure of photographing it! Hugs!

It is so nice to know that there is a whole group of people committed to preserving the arts here in the valley. And the Ramona Bowl Guild Alliance is committed to just that. I have had the privilege of being the photographer for many of the fundraisers for The Ramona Bowl. This is the second annual Night of Opera at Dattilos Ristorante to benefit The Ramona Bowl, put on once again by the Ramona Bowl Guild Alliance. The singers, once again, were amazing. The Guild has raised a considerable amount of money for The Ramona Bowl. This was a great night full of laughter, great music and delicious food!

Thank you once again for allowing me to be a part of your vision for the Ramona Bowl. It’s a treasure in our valley and it is an honor to be a part of preserving it.
Meet the gorgeous Jennifer and Oz! I was so excited for this wedding. I shot Jennifer and Oz’s engagement session in Laguna Beach and they were just so sweet. I was so honored to have the opportunity to shoot their wedding! They got married at the adorable and classy French Estate in Orange.
I am a fan of doors. I’m not sure what that is exactly…hmm… maybe it’s the mystery of what could be behind them…I’ve never really thought about it until now. But here are some that I love posing with the pretty bouquet.
Little hands…love them!
I do love this moment.
Adorable setting, isn’t it?
It is always fun to see how my couples use their engagement photos! This is one of the more unique displays. I love it!
The stunning Jennifer.
Jennifer and Oz, your wedding was perfect! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it!
Okay, this was a wedding I was really looking forward to. I shot Letticia and Adrian’s engagement shoot in Rancho Cucamonga’s Red Hill Community Park awhile back and just fell in love with them. They are so sweet. They got married at Mountain Meadows in Pomona. This was the first time I was driven in a golf cart to take photos :) Meet Adrian and Letticia!
This made me SO happy! She was ready and just waiting to leave for the wedding and sat down…then POOF! Up fluffed the dress! I was so happy for these shots! So happy we had time to spare and she wanted to just it down!
Letticia looked stunning.
The handsome guys.
You have to love his smile.
Yay!
Letticia’s father gave “all that he had left” after this wedding at the Money Dance!
Letticia and Adrian, what an honor to be a part of such a special day. Thank you so much for including me! Hugs to you both!
I love small world findings…Shane and I through our conversations realized that we went to camp together for several years at Angeles Crest Christian Camp! I was so excited to find this out. We knew the same people and we have a lot of the same memories from all those fun camp weeks! So fun. And Ginny is the sister of Kyler’s friend since preschool at St. John’s. Lots of connections! Ginny and Shane met me at my house for their engagement shoot. It was a cool but beautiful evening. Shane, the day after this shoot, was deployed. So keep them both in your prayers. Meet the beautiful and kind Ginny and Shane!
It was so wonderful meeting you both! Shane, you are in my prayers out there and Ginny, you, too, for strength and support. Hugs to you both and I am looking forward to shooting your wedding next year! Thank you!
Meet the creative, talented, and outdoorsy Floerke Family! We went to college together back in the day (ok, it wasn’t that long ago…back in the day sounds so…grown up) at Pacific Christian College which is now Hope International University in Fullerton. We met in our old stomping grounds of downtown Fullerton and did some shots there. I am always a fan of city shots…so much variety there! Stephanie is a student and a sweet mama and Brandon is a teacher at Fullerton College and is still creating music with his band Stuffed Animal Baby. Meet the Floerkes!
Brandon, Stephanie, thank you so much for asking me to shoot your precious family! It was so great seeing you. Love you!
