Wedding at Wayfarers Chapel :: Christopher + Rebekah

Rebekah and Christopher are Marines. They had a little civil ceremony to officially tie the knot awhile back, but wanted a special day to acknowledge their marriage in the presence of family and friends. And I was the lucky one to have the opportunity to photograph it! I LOVE Wayfarer’s Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes. I shot another wedding here. What a beautiful venue…seriously! Who could ask for anything more beautiful than a glass chapel?! The amazing Stephanie Bowden of Stephanie Joy Photography joined me in photographing this sweet wedding.

Norwalk Family Photography :: Van Scoy Family Portraits

Let me introduce you to one of my favorite childhood buddies! Brandon and I grew up together in good ole Downey, California. I’ve known him since we were 8. And now…30 years later…here we are…all growed up!! We also went to college with his sweet wifey, Alonna. The Van Scoys came on out to our house for a fun family shoot. Love this family!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedMy insruction for this shot: To do whatever you want inside your section! This is what happened :)undefinedundefinedundefinedShe has spunk for sure!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined

I love you Van Scoys! We seriously need to get together again…even without a camera involved! Hugs to your precious kiddos.

Pasadena Engagement Photography :: Joey’s Dad!

This is a really special shoot for me. This is Joey’s Dad, Danny and his fiance, Dee!  It’s so nice to see them so happy and in love! Downtown Pasadena was the place for us. We met at All Saints Episcopal Church for these shots. So much character in these grounds. Meet Danny and Dee!

undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedAnd you can’t be within a block of Pasadena City Hall without heading there for some shots! This place is amazing!undefinedundefinedAren’t they cute?undefinedI think Dee looks so beautiful here!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedLove.undefinedDanny and Dee…thank you so much for allowing me to capture the beginning of your journey together. Hemet Senior Portraits :: Joshua

So excited to do this shoot! I have never done a shoot on a golf course…well…and I have never been on a golf course…if you can believe it. One time in college a friend took me to a driving range, and I never even hit the ball, although I swung. So…not much luck in the ole golfing past, but not to worry! I had my bud Josh to show me the ropes. Josh met me at Diamond Valley Golf Club in Hemet. Wow, what a beautiful course! They were kind enough to let us drive around on golf carts and take some shots :) Joshua is on the Hemet High School Golf Team. Meet the amazing  Joshua!

undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedWe headed over to the Western Science Center to mix it up. Lots of yummy walls and textures to add to our shoot. Oh, and a very handsome Josh in a sweet suit.

undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedJosh’s cutie girlfriend, Kristen, came along for smile support and some shots with Josh. And she gave him that striped shirt…undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedIt was very cute, Josh’s mom was with us and she kept wanting him to do “that thing” that he does that is so cute. Josh acted like he didn’t really know what “that” was…until I walked down the street with him and said, “Come on Josh, what does your mom think is so cute? Ya gotta do it for her!”  Well here it is. Sometimes we moms just need that “thing” caught on camera! You all grow up too fast and we want to hold on to those sweet memories of our babies :)undefinedundefinedDesiree, Josh, thank you! I had a blast with you! Congrats Josh on your graduation! Hugs to you all!

Hemet Family Portraits :: The McClary Family

The McClarys! How can we describe them better than…some of the best friends we have ever had? Ben and Telah have been our amazing friends for years. We all lived in good ole Hemet, then they moved to Utah, BOO! But just like good friends do, we pick up where we left off like no time has passed. And I do have to mention that their oldest and Jos have been betrothed since they were 4. ;) Our kids are all very close and love each other very much. You’re just going to die to see their daughter’s expressions. Hilarious! Ben was out here for a while for work, then Telah and the kids came to see us, I mean him ;) So we grabbed some family pics while they were out here…

undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedYou know what’s weird? When I TOOK this picture on the right, I got tears in my eyes from how beautiful it was. Not like, wow, I am so good! Look at the picture I took! There was just so much love, it made me tear up :)undefinedundefinedundefinedThere is nothing more fun than Daddy’s throwing and lifting their babies :)undefinedundefinedPrecious brownie eyeballs!undefinedShe. cracks me up!undefinedundefinedundefinedHandsome little face.undefinedOh yes.undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedBen and Telah Belah…I love you guys so much!! Thank you for being our friends. Now…move back to CALIFORNIA! XOXO
